I do enjoy traveling, listening to all types of music, and experiencing what the world has to offer when it comes to food! Why I Chose Real Estate: Two of my strengths would be that I'm a very goal oriented person with a determined mentality and I care and respect attentively about everyone I meet. With those two strengths combined is why I chose to be in real estate. Longtime Woodlands resident Monica Brashear is a multi-million dollar producer, five star agent and a recognized member of the Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty Circle of Excellence. Prior to her career in residential real estate, Monica practiced law for fifteen years. “I know that my real estate practice benefits from my past legal experience,” Monica says. “I am extremely organized, and have a deep understanding of contract law and negotiation. While I no longer practice law, I still draw on that knowledge for the benefit of my real estate clients.”
A self-described “people person,” Monica enjoys the personal relationships created with her clients. “I believe all parties in a home sale transaction should be pleased with the outcome, and I strive very hard to bring parties to compromise and agreement,” she says. “I also work well with clients who are being transferred in and out of the Houston area. Moving a family or even just an individual across country is difficult and an experienced Realtor can make it as smooth a process as possible.”
Monica earned BA and JD degrees from the University of Kentucky. She volunteers her time in The Woodlands' public schools and enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, watching SEC sports, playing piano and golf.

As an Executive Director for Keller Williams The Woodlands we are in the people development business. Training and coaching real estate professionals how to build successful businesses is extremely rewarding. I began my real estate career in 2010 as an agent in The Woodlands, TX and my passion for real estate developed out of a desire for connecting people to the things that they love. The foundation of a strong career starts with being surrounded by a group of hard working individuals who have a desire to work and grow together to serve others. So moving from agent to leader was a natural progression for me. After serving buyer and seller clients for 4 years, I was offered the opportunity to become Executive Director for Keller Williams Realty in The Woodlands, TX. As life happens, I relocated to the East Coast and took the same role in Savannah, Ga. for Keller Williams Coastal Area Partners. Now, I am back where it all started in The Woodlands, Tx as the Executive Director of Keller Williams The Woodlands once again. These roles taught me a great deal about the importance and strength in collaboration, building relationships, and a united team. I possess a love for building strong connections and a heart for giving back. As a lifelong learner with a high level of curiosity, I love to read and actively push myself to learn anything from business, photography, gardening, furniture building, to yoga, meditation, and painting. I feel a little like Einstein, in that "I have no special talent, I am only passionately curious".
