Hi I'm Demetra from Amite, La, but Houston, TX has been my home since 2002. I'm an awesome wife to James, and a wonderful mother to my two kids, Kamaury and Serenity. I'm full of love and smiles, known to be honest and trustworthy, but I'm straight forward when needed. I truly care for people and I'm a true believer of building relationships and not just transactions. I love to travel, (that's probably why I married a truck driver), however sitting next to an ocean is my favorite thing to do. I enjoy reading and entertaining, but there's something about music that just takes me away. I also enjoy southern cooking when I'm in the mood. I have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and I'm certified in Special Education. Although, education has been my background for many years, I'm ready to use those same skills as a real estate agent. I promise to treat each client individually and equally, listen to their needs, ease their fears and make their process as smooth as possible. I relocated to Cypress, Texas from St. Paul, Minnesota with my husband and our 4 cats in 2017 to be near the ocean and enjoy balmier weather. I love exploring Houston and the beautiful neighborhoods that surround the city. Prior to becoming an agent, I worked for 15+ years in the payroll industry which means I am no stranger to staying organized with paperwork or keeping up with changing laws and regulations. I enjoy being able to bring my experience in relocating to others moving to our vibrant city. Houston is very spread out and this can be overwhelming for any buyer but I'm here to be your guide from start to finish.

We are so blessed to be near our three sons and their families, all of whom live in the Houston area. My career in education continued with a total of 25 years of teaching. However; retirement was not such a good fit for me, so I decided to join Dylan and the Stone's Throw Realty Team to pursue a career in real estate.
