My name is David McClurkin. For over 25 years I was a corporate CPA but after retirement in 2017 decided to become a real estate agent. Now it is possible to join with my wife Sylva who has been a real estate agent since 2001. For years I had provided assistance for her real estate endeavors. At this stage of life, a dominant personal outlook is to search for opportunities to serve others and help them obtain their goals and dreams. Real estate is one avenue for pursuing those opportunities. Also, as a veteran, there is the desire to help other veterans with their home needs. Most importantly, there is the hope that each client will be blessed and that their lifestyle is satisfying and contented.

Houston’s economy has also become a broad industrial base in energy, manufacturing, aeronautics, and transportation. Which played a role in making Houston the most diverse city in Texas and also in the United States.
