Born and raised in San Antonio, Amber Lenz Gilbert comes from a long line of successful San Antonio business owners with strong local roots in banking, architecture, construction, and city government. In 2008, Amber completed her qualifications to receive the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation and built the First Texan Realty Offices. Amber excelled in the down economy and she invested while many were dropping out of the real estate business. She was selected as one of the handful of 2010 CCIM National Rising Star Award. In 2011, Leadership San Antonio inducted Amber to its Membership Class 37. In 2012, Amber was appointed to the San Antonio Planning Committee Technical Advisory Committee overseeing Development Community. Amber was able to show exponential growth with First Texan Realty, and in July 2013 the San Antonio North Chamber awarded her with the Business Achievement Award. This award is given to the company with the most dramatic sales, profitability, and personal increases.
