Lisa Keefe

Respect for heritage, unwavering faith, integrity, education, entrepreneurship and a heart for serving others have shaped every chapter of Lisa Keefe's life. Those values were deeply rooted by generations of her family, whose ancestors were among the early settlers west of the Brazos River in Texas. From her grandparents, Lisa learned the value of hard work and entrepreneurship. From her parents, she inherited a commitment to faith, honesty and serving her community—principles she continues to pass on to her children and grandchildren.

Although her Texas roots run deep, Lisa experienced life across the United States and Europe as the daughter of a career Army officer. Marrying Robert in 1989 united two military families, as Robert was also the son of a career Army soldier and he also proudly served in the U.S. Army Infantry. Their family's tradition of military service continues today through their daughter, who serves as a Major in the U.S. Army.

Lisa graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 1987 and later completed master's studies in Health Services Administration at the University of Kansas. She built a successful 20-plus-year career in healthcare marketing in the Kansas City area before returning to Texas in 2013.

After relocating home, Lisa combined her business experience with a lifelong passion for real estate, learning the investment side of the industry alongside her father. Today, she is a Texas Broker Associate with JLA Realty, specializing in residential, investment and small commercial properties throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She also holds the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation and is passionate about helping first-time buyers, growing families, investors and seniors confidently navigate important real estate decisions.

Lisa and Robert continue to own and manage investment properties while restoring and preserving pieces of Texas history, including a century-old farmhouse that once belonged to her great-grandparents.

Beyond real estate, Lisa is deeply committed to giving back. She serves as Chair of the Community Service Committee for the Greater Metro West Association of REALTORS, leads weekly Faith Fridays for fellow real estate professionals, volunteers in her church, and has spent nearly three decades teaching youth horsemanship through 4-H alongside her daughter. An accomplished horsewoman, Lisa has earned multiple national championships with her horse, Yoshi, but considers investing in people and helping others achieve their goals to be her greatest accomplishment.

Whether she's serving clients, mentoring new agents, volunteering in the community or spending time with her husband, children, and four grandchildren, Lisa believes success is measured not only by achievements but by the lives we impact along the way.
