Its my first time working on the Listing side of a Rental property transaction. I want to make sure I'm servicing my client and need a little assistance. Does anyone want to share their process on how they help rental listing clients on the Homeowner/listing side? Not so much how to post to MLS, but more so a todo checklist of what needs to be done and when. Thanks for your help!

Hello! The process is easier then a sale listing. Get a CMA for rentals in the area to determing an estimated pricing. View the home to make sure it is ready for the next tenant. I attach a landlords regulation and tenant criteria on the MLS for tenant to review and sign with their application. I ask for the TAR application with 2 months recent paystubs, 2 monthly bank statements and ID. When I receive an application with Dovuments I have the landlord review and if they approve, then a mysmartmove link is sent to do background and credit check and with that they can make a final decision. This is my process. Of course I suggest to get with your broker just incase. Dont think I am missing anything but more than happy to help.
