Having made it my life's mission to serve people to the best of my abilities in whatever capacity I took on, it was only natural that I would choose to join the real estate profession. In more ways than one, it is the ultimate blend of my passion for people and my desire to help them secure their futures through real estate. Prior to making the transition, I was a law enforcement officer with the Houston Police Department for 32 years where I rose to the rank of lieutenant before retiring in 2013. It was while there that I also headed the DARE program for the city of Houston, providing elementary and middle school children with the tools to resist drugs. This experience translates into a superior level of detailed attention, dedication and professionalism as well as great interpersonal skills. With confidence, compassion and understanding, I consistently strive to deliver beyond expectations and offer a true 5-star customer experience. I take pride in being a valued source of real estate information. To this end, I am always expanding my personal growth to better serve my clients, including completing the required coursework, transactions and testing to obtain my brokers license. I'm originally from Detroit, Michigan where I attended Wayne State University and began a career as a Detroit Police officer. I majored in music (love Motown) and played trumpet! I moved to Houston, Texas in 1980 where I joined the Houston Police Department attaining the rank of lieutenant before retiring in 2013 with 32 years of service. My over 36 years in law enforcement deeply engrained in me the importance of honesty, integrity, customer service, and the attention to detail. I am now loving my second career as a realtor helping people reach their dream of becoming homeowners as stress free as possible.
