I recommend going to Har.com and checking out their class calendar, and/or check in with your broker, and title companies for more support and development!

Don’t forget to practice safety during the open houses. I know safety techniques are highlighted at the HAR open house classes. As others have mentioned try to get a colleague to host the open house with you. I also try to get a family member to hang out inside the house as a potential buyer as well as walk the property and be my eyes and ears. I wish you well in the business. Superb advice by all professionals! Also, make sure you view all the Safety Videos on the HAR website. Teaming up with another Realtor during an Open House is always a good idea.

You can always shadow other agents who hold open houses and see what they do so you can pick up the best practices

Welcome to the biz! Ask an agent in your office if you can shadow or co-host with them on their next open house, so that you may obtain a first hand view on how it may be down. Be sure to ask questions.

In addition to what our colleagues recommended, you can also check with your broker and find out if they offer training (good brokers do) and find out if you may shadow a seasoned agent from your brokerage during an open house to learn

I send open house information to all agents through reverse prospecting - Day of Open House Ensure all junctions nearby have Open House signs Turn down AC, open all blinds, turn on lights, keep flyers ready, greet visitors, give them tour for property, keep a log for visitors.
