Im looking to relocate I need advice
510My landlord in Philly PA wasn't fulfilling her position as a landlord or property manager I decided not to no longer pay rent She hasn't taking me to court I reached out to section 8 over and over section 8 in Philly is horrible mind you I just relocated from NYC July 2020 I found a place a couple of weeks ago the potential landlord was extremely impressed about my background check until he spoke with my current landlord who told the potential landlord that I haven't paid rent in 14 months which wasn't true I moved in July 16th or 2020 I wasn't here exactly for 14 months and I stopped rent payments due to horrible living conditions in my apartment not feeling safe in the building mail was stolen from me several times packages no door bell so the potential landlord refused to rent out to me even though I was going to get the apt at first I had to pay money for a background check just like this other apt I was looking into 4300 Pearson avenue Philly PA these so called landlords doesn't take in consideration about the tenants and go section 8.com is horrible flooded with crooked sneaky unprofessional people claiming to be landlords that's how I've come across with the last 2 potential landlords I'm trying to move with my voucher and keep coming up with bull crap Any suggestions If I can find a good Realtors in Philly PA that assist section 8 tenants that I don't have to keep paying for background checks $25..00 or $50.00 I would be good any help suggestions smart moves ideas within reason you name it I'm for it
