Hi Misty!!
You can definitely set up a home search on har.com, putting in your specific criteria, naming/saving your search and requesting notifications on new listings and/or price changes.
1) Go to HAR.com on the home page.
2) Click "More Search Filters" under the green "Search" button in the middle of the page.
3) Go in an tailor your search to your specifications. I would caution from getting too specific here as it could limit the search results. Stick to price range, square footage range, minimum bedrooms and bathrooms and area (draw/apply your own map, zip code, city, subdivision (careful as you may miss some if they aren't put in the system exactly by the agent as you put it in), school district, etc.
4) Don't forget to check the option to receive New Listings.
5) When finished, click "Save This Search", give the search a name, making sure you have the box checked to receive notifications and "Save Search" to input your email address and receive listings that match your search criteria.
It looks like as a consumer you can receive new listings once a week. I would strongly encourage speaking with a realtor who can set you up with your own search. Realtors can search with more detail and you can be set up to receive instant notifications (immediately when a new property is listed that meets your criteria) or, if you prefer, you can receive an email daily with any new listings (rather than immediately). You will have access to your own client web page where you can favorite properties, make notes, etc.
Happy to help set you up if you want!
