A Maintenance fee, in reference to an HOA is the fee that is charged for some level of maintenance in a subdivision.
Shisty, great question! Maintenance fees are costs assessed to each neighbor in a given community to maintain shared/common areas. Some common examples of such areas that require upkeep are: Area Landscape, Pool, Clubhouse, Tennis Court, Park. I hope this helps, thanks for posting!
