What are the best resources to use when searching for international (Puerto Vallarta) rental property?

A friend of mine in Houston wants a fully furnished rental in Puerto Vallarta for about 6 months at a time. Are there certain websites or companies I should use and trust? Being a licensed agent in Texas, can I help her with this rental contract or should I request a referral fee from a local agent in Mexico?
