Worth metroplex, Dana grew up on a 16-acre property where she developed a love for horses and participated in 4-H and Quarter Horse shows. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology.

After completing her education, Dana worked as a Medical Technologist and Laboratory Director. In 1995, she married her husband, Jack, and together they have three children. They have been residents of the Montgomery/Lake Conroe area since 2007, with a prior residence in the greater Houston area from 1993-2005. They briefly lived in Northern Ohio from 2005-2007 before returning to Texas.

In 2015, Dana decided to make a career shift and entered the real estate business with Top Guns Realty. During her time there, she gained valuable experience and knowledge in the industry. In 2020, she joined the Pam Westlake Realty Group, led by Pam Westlake, Owner/Broker. Originally from Arkansas, I have always had a heart for helping people. Before real estate, I received a degree in Criminal Justice. Soon after, I worked for the Pine Police Department for 5 years. I also worked for Sixth Division Juvenile Court where I was assigned the position of Gang Prevention Coordinator. This position consisted of planning activities and programs for the prevention of youth and gang violence. This is accomplished by reaching out to identified gang members and linking them to services, institutions, and providing access to resources in an effort to reduce attachment of youth to gangs and gang activities. Transporting youth to and from various appointments and functions. Plans and attends social and recreational activities. Serves as advocate for the youth in securing social services, education, and job-related opportunities. Performs needs assessment for youth and family members and provides information about services. Makes appropriate referrals and maintains detailed documentation of all contact with youth. I feel everyone has the chance to change, they just need someone who encourages and believes in them. Everyone deserves a second chance, even the people who do not believe they deserve it.
