A Little About Me-

My interest and passion for Real Estate began in the early 1990's, when my husband and I were beginning the search for our first home. Since then, we have moved 6 times and lived in 4 cities in Texas. Four of these moves included building our new home. I just love the process and, yes, we are still happily married!



In the early 2000's, we continued our Real Estate adventure and purchased, remodeled and flipped 2 properties in the North Houston area. I would have to say that our very latest endeavors have been my favorite, so far. In 2019, we purchased a 1913 historic cottage, in Galveston, and completely remodeled it. We maintained the historic features and charm of the home, while bringing it up to date with all the modern conveniences. The home was featured on the GHF Historic Home Tour in 2021. We are now working on a 1900 Storm Survivor, that will hit the market soon! Having lived on the island in my youth, I grew to love everything about Galveston. I want to share that love and experience with others and can't wait to help you find your perfect Island home.

Profile: My name is Billie Kennedy, Realtor with Texas United Realty. We offer complete real estate services including Residential, Acreage, Farm and Ranch, and Commercial. I am Platinum Agent and Client Protection Expert. I am both a Listing Agent and a Buyer's Agent. A little about myself...I am a life-long resident of the Magnolia area and have been married since 1983. We were Blessed with two boys, our oldest graduated from Magnolia High and is now a corporate pilot and is married with three children of his own. Our youngest son passed away at the age of 8 due to complications of congenital heart and lung defects. My family, friends, and I held an annual toy drive in honor of Dillon, from 1999 to 2016, collecting enough toys every year to pass out to every child at Texas Children's Hospital. We are now supporting our local charity, Intercept, which helps needy families and senior citizens of the area with needed supplies and gifts.

I began my real estate career many years ago as office staff for a top local real estate company, before deciding to get my license in 2003. I then practiced real estate during my first 8 years as part of a very successful team. That experience prepared me with the confidence and knowledge needed to go out on my own in 2011. I have had the privilege of working with many buyers and sellers in all price ranges, from $20,000 to $3,000,000. Although I have been in this business for many years, I will not become complacent. Continuing education keeps me up on the latest technology and tools so I can serve my clients beyond your expectations. From showings, negotiations, all the way through closing and beyond I will be there for you, with only your best interest in mind.

Cristen previously worked in sales for Clear Channel communications and Learfield Sports for 15 years. She is a hometown Woodlands girl and grew up in the Woodlands Community where she and her family still reside.
