My name is Molly Lasater, and I am the Owner/Broker for SOLID REAL ESTATE SERVICES. I assist buyers and sellers with their real estate needs, but I also provide a SOLID opportunity for Texas agents to have successful real estate careers! I started my own brokerage in order to provide a greater experience to Texas real estate agents and to allow them an opportunity to work for a broker who truly wants to see them succeed. I currently have agents working for SOLID in Houston, DFW, Lubbock, San Angelo, and the Permian Basin.
I believe it is important to provide continuing education to my clients during a real estate transaction. When the company Tracy worked for went private and cashed out all of his stock options. He was trying to decide between buying a motorcycle and investing in a rent house. Luckily, he found an inexpensive motorcycle AND a well-priced, fixer-upper rent house. A few years later, he sold the motorcycle but continued investing in real estate.
With over 22 years in residential real estate as a landlord and REALTOR®, Tracy loves helping people find their first or forever home, or any home in between. And because of his experience as a landlord, he strives to help other people take the plunge into the rewarding world of residential real estate investing. He calls himself a part-time landlord and has helped dozens of other people become part-time landlords, too.
I bought my first duplex in 2001, said Tracy. The only thing I wish I'd done differently would be to have purchased my first rental property sooner.
Before becoming a REALTOR®, he spent 30 years in Information Technology working in the law enforcement, medical, and agricultural sectors. He led and managed highly complex and security-focused projects. Because of this, he brings a unique perspective to project management and security to your real estate transactions.
A native Texan, Tracy moved to Lubbock in 1986 to attend Texas Tech University. He fell in love with the city and made Lubbock his home. He participates in several non-profit and civic organizations and enjoys spending time with his children who have grown up and made Lubbock their home, too.
