Lisa Priest

Lisa has been involved in real estate from a very young age, beginning with toddling behind her mother and grandparents as they met clients for showings, signed contracts and worked on rental property. As a third generation realtor, it runs in the blood; and it sure is tough to run away from something that has become second nature. She is known for her no-nonsense approach. She will hold your hand, but don't expect her to beat around the bush. You'll get the plain truth, even if it's ugly. She is passionate about buying and selling and loves to get a great deal! After all, a home is one of the biggest purchases in your life! Lisa Priest is a graduate of SMU with a B.A. in Advertising and a B.A. in English. Lisa serves as a board member of the Palestine Association of REALTORS® and is the Chairperson for the Palestine City Council Real Estate Advisory Committee. She is an Ambassador for the Palestine Chamber of Commerce since 2011 and enjoys working with the other ambassadors and organizing Chamber events and festivals. In October 2014, Lisa was asked by the Palestine Herald-Press to write a weekly real estate column and thoroughly enjoys writing and hearing from readers. When she's not driving around town stalking homes, you can find her hanging out at the lake with her family, visiting friends or traveling anywhere and everywhere. She enjoys relaxing on a patio with a cool breeze hitting her face and has an amazing husband, 6 year old son, 1 demure dog and an extremely opinionated cat.
