Cyndi Kornegay is an experienced real estate broker with a well-respected background of more than twenty-eight years servicing clients in the greater Houston area. As an expert in real estate listings and a specialist in new construction, she has ranked twenty-fifth out of all agents on HAR and has sold over 2,000 properties throughout her career. As a native Houstonian, Cyndi was awarded a full academic scholarship to the University of Houston, where she was active on campus and achieved the title of President of her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, her senior year. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has been married to Brad Kornegay, an accomplished manager and construction consultant, for over 22 years and together, they designed and built their own home in the suburbs of Houston. They have three children spanning from college age to kindergarten. Cyndi began her real estate career with Coventry Homes in 1995, where she developed her own business plan prioritizing integrity, dedication, and communication while assisting clients with their dream homes. By 2001, she was named Manager of Realtor Relations for Coventry Homes, and in 2013, she was promoted to Vice President of Listing Services and Broker for Texas, a position she held for ten years.
Cyndi has spent the past two decades enhancing her skills in real estate and perfecting her business plan, which has led to a range of impressive accomplishments. In 2022, she achieved an outstanding sales volume of $126,000,000 and was ranked among the top agents on HAR. Her exceptional status has afforded her numerous opportunities to work with leading builders and personal clients in Texas, and she has developed expertise in listing their most prestigious properties, earning the designation of a "new construction specialist" within the industry. My primary focus in Real Estate is assisting First Responders and Veterans in the buying and selling of their homes. I know how hard it can be for First Responders and Veterans to support their families financially. If the emotional stress of their jobs wasn't enough, their financial stress is typically high as well. It is my goal to help alleviate that stress along with the stress of buying and selling a home, through incentives and professional knowledge. My husband is a Police Officer near Houston Texas. The reason assisting First Responders and Veterans is so near and dear to my heart is because my husband was shot in the line of duty in 2010. Thankfully he lived and is thriving in spite of his injuries. I know first hand the toll this took on our family. Hence, I was able to hone my skills, understanding and education and tailor them to support First Responders and Veterans in the best way I know how, real estate. I am specifically knowledgeable about Fort Bend County and its surrounding areas, I also do quite a bit of work in the Greater Houston area.
