Philip is a second generation realtor with aspirations of bringing the same level of quality and knowledge as those before him. He originally decided to follow a very different path in the oil industry. He attended college at Texas State University where he majored in Geographical Information Systems. After receiving his BS, he moved back to Houston to pursue his Masters degree. With the oil collapse of 2014 he decided to enter the family business. Having been brought up in a real estate family and working part time from the time he was in high school, he already had a firm understanding of the local market and personalized service that we still offer today. Philip is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Hi, my name is Scott Yao. I have been living in the United States since 1987. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, I am also a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication Studies, and Medical Sociology. When I was living in Indiana, I developed a passion for marketing and real estate after having multiple interactions with some of the top real estate agents in Indiana. Fascinated with the idea of becoming a REALTOR®, I registered for and completed the required real estate classes and was in the process of taking my state licensing exam when I received a job offer in Texas within the medical field. At that time, in 2018, I moved to Texas and currently live in Sugar Land, just southwest of Houston. Nevertheless, my interest in real estate never wavered, so I followed that dream and became a licensed REALTOR® in Texas.

What makes real estate so special and fascinating to me? Largely, it is because I get to have a chance to meet and interact with many people from different places and cultures, especially in our widely diverse Greater Houston area. Getting to know my clients' needs, desires, and styles when it comes to buying or selling, providing outstanding service, and earning their trust is something that I always look forward to. I love to help and assist my clients with all of their real estate endeavors, and being a key part of that process to assist them in finding a home that they love is something that I find very rewarding.

Live the life you imagine! I was born in Houston, Texas and moved to Brenham in 2009. My grandparents were German immigrants who settled nearby and my mother grew up in the area. I have travelled the world and have many interests and hobbies. I've been involved in aviation most of my life, as well as farming and ranching. I love culinary and hospitality events, cooking and entertaining! My hobbies on a smaller scale include gardening, skiing, scuba diving, jogging and anything outdoors!! I have been in dentistry a very long time but put myself through undergraduate and dental school modeling and selling real estate in the Houston area. I'm so excited to get back to my love of real estate as I transition out of dentistry. I am very impressed with the Coldwell Banker office in Brenham and Lindi Braddock's team; their professionalism and their love of community and the people in the area!! I am Blessed! And active in all parts of my community! I love and enjoy my family deeply and my precious grandchildren!! And hope to share time with many of you!
