Kate Hamlin

Kate is no stranger to change. She calls Austin home after living in the Midwest, the North, the Northwest, the Southeast, and Europe over the last 20+ years. Using her blend of calm, educational and encouraging personality, she taps her knowledge from her own relocations, and her expert problem-solving skills honed during her time as a Building Systems Mechanical Engineer to best reach her client's real estate goals. Licensed since 2006, Kate has acquired a deep knowledge of the real estate market, having helped hundreds of families find the right property, counseling them along the way to keep the process as smooth as possible. She has helped buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, commercial clients, and investors. Being a landlord herself, Kate is able to help clients think strategically about how to leverage real estate as a long-term income goal. With over 14,000 realtors in Austin to choose from, Kate is proud to be in the top 3%, a Platinum Top 50 Austin Finalist, a National Association of Realtors 30 Under 30 Recipient and a top producer at Realty Austin, the #1 Independent Real Estate office in Central Texas. Kate has volunteered for the Sustainable Food Center, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels and Austin Animal Center. She is currently serving on the Board for the Tanglewood Oaks Homeowners Association and has served in the past on the Economic Development Board, the Chamber of Commerce Board, Tumbleweed Board serving underprivileged children, the West Coast Swing Montana Board and the Austin Acro Advocates Board. She is a graduate of both Leadership Montana and Leadership Austin. Kate donates to Foundation Communities, Austin Children's Shelter, Community First, Sustainable Food Center, PBS KLRU, NPR KUT, Hill Country Conservancy, Austin Pets Alive, Big Bend Conservancy, National Park Conservation Association and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
