As a 6th generation Texan, my roots are well-grounded in the Lone Star State. Add to that the fact that I am a native Houstonian, who grew up in the heart of Houston, and that I have lived in the suburb of Sugar Land (in Fort Bend County) for over 20 years, there can be no doubt that I am very familiar with the residential areas in the Houston Metroplex.

Prior to becoming a Realtor®, I had a duality of careers -- first in banking and then as a lawyer. However, with the birth of our twin daughters, I made the decision that my career goals needed to take a back seat to my family. So, I decided to take a few years off to stay at home with our girls. Now that they are older, I began to reassess what I would really like to do, going forward, as a career. Having practiced law for over 25 years, I realized that a return to that demanding life was not a good fit for my goals as a mother and a wife. I began to weigh my options and, ultimately, realized that I wanted to become a real estate agent.

I believe that my years of experience will only aid me in helping people and families find their dream homes. While I have extensive knowledge of residential housing markets in Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg, Stafford and their surrounding areas, I also am very familiar with the neighborhoods in Southwest Houston near where I grew up, including River Oaks, West University, Memorial, Tanglewood and surrounding areas. Nevertheless, no area of the Houston Metroplex is off limits and I would love to work with you wherever you wish to find your dream home.

No matter what the reason, moving is traumatic and stressful. With my attention to detail, my excellent communication skills, a plethora of tools at my disposal, and my knowledge of the Houston area, I can help bring calm to what will always be a nerve-racking time in anyone's life. With over twenty years of experience in the financial industry, Ms. Luu has extensive experience and outstanding performance in real estate planning, sales, investment, financial planning, and management leadership.

After graduating Ms. Luu began her career as an Accountant for a global importer/exporter company. Advancing quickly to Branch Controller of Houston, a $100 million sales and service operation. Wanting to expand her knowledge in the financial industry, Ms. Luu became a licensed real estate and mortgage consultant. Within three years Ms. Luu continued to rank as one of the Top Producers, building and managing an impressive portfolio of residential and commercial clients. In 2005, Ms. Luu joined a national real estate and financial planning firm, consistently ranking with the Top Three Producers (out of 50). Ms. Luu coached and mentored her team of 175 in the “client-focused approach”. A strategy she has developed over the years and believes led to her success as the Top Branch Producer Award two consecutive years (2006 and 2007).
