Houston, city of diverse ethnicity, has been home to me since 1979. When I arrived in Houston as a student, downtown was still undergoing construction. I have witnessed the growth of the city going as far as Sugar Land to the southwest and Woodlands to the north.  I joined Keller Williams in 2003 and within a year I was amongst the Top Producers at the Metropolitan office in Galleria area! I have helped clients, who are now my friends, with their residential and commercial needs. I have a deep understanding of real estate business.  Besides mentoring new agents, I am also a part of the pool of instructors at Dubai Real Estate Institute. I have travelled on four continents and I am familiar with various cultures. I fluently speak English, Gujrati and Urdu with some understanding of Punjabi, Sindhi and Arabic.

Licensed since 1988, MaryAnn Shields has been in and out of real estate sales over the years, taking time out to work in human resources and counseling with Briargrove Psychotherapy/Children Cope with Divorce, and as a Licensed Group I and II insurance broker with Benefit Insurance Consultants, Inc., from which she brought a multitude of skills that benefit the clients she works with since returning to real estate.

A native Houstonian who grew up in West University, MaryAnn also possesses a vast knowledge of the city’s various neighborhoods, public and private schools.

MaryAnn’s father was in Commercial Real Estate and her mother was a nurse who began her career traveling with the Iron Lung Polio Team and The Red Cross. Later her mother joined MD Anderson as Director of Nursing and opened the first Hospice in Houston. MaryAnn is one of six siblings, including two sets of twins, of which she and her twin brother are the youngest.

Real Estate has always been a passion of hers. Dependable, flexible, honest, detail-oriented and knowledgeable, MaryAnn loves working with Sellers and staging their homes, or helping Buyers find their dream homes or investment properties.

Always finding ways to support and give back to life, MaryAnn has served as a former Board Member and past President of Woodsborough Homeowner’s Association, and volunteered with Faith Lutheran Day School and Special Pal at Texas Children’s Hospital. MaryAnn is the proud mother of two Eagle Scout sons.

Ileana Armenta grew up in Guadalajara Jal Mexico and is bilingual in Spanish. After relocating to the Katy/Houston, Texas area, Ileana has gained knowledge as a local to navigate the real estate markets in these areas.
