I have lived all of my life in Galveston County, and on Galveston Island for over 25 years, and love the unique lifestyle that Galveston has to offer from breathtaking sunsets on Galveston's West End to stunning architecture, theater, and shopping in Galveston's Downtown Strand and historic districts. I have 3 children who have all attended Galveston public schools, two who are recent Texas A&M graduates, and one who attends Texas A & M Corpus Christi. My family and I enjoy kayaking, fishing, boating, biking and all of the many outdoor activities available on the Island. Originally from Michigan, I lived in San Diego for ten years after graduating college until my wife and I moved to Texas to be closer to her family. Prior to real estate, I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Drawn by the lure of the sea, Marks and his family relocated to Galveston in mid-2015 and now call the beautiful Texas gulf coast home. As a resident and professional in this coastal region, he is intimately familiar with the unique issues related to coastal living, specifically coastal insurance issues (flood, wind), differing building codes and construction requirements. Marks brings a wealth of experience in home renovation, commercial construction, and historic restoration, valuable knowledge given the amount of older homes and historic buildings on the island.

As you can imagine, real estate, like everything else in Las Vegas, was dynamic and always moving, and he quickly became a top producer within his brokerage.


When Marks is not immersed in the world of real estate, he enjoys playing golf on the island's golf courses, nurturing vibrant tropical plants and relishing the freshest local seafood. Simple pleasures include exploring the island on his golf cart, sunset gatherings with friends and quiet time on his porch enjoying the breeze off the water.

Alison Christensen grew up in Houston and earned her B.A. degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University. A family vacation home in Galveston in the 90's turned into a permanent residence in 2003. "It wasn't a difficult choice: we loved the pace of 'island time' and found ourselves spending more and more time down here." Alison has an extensive knowledge of Galveston's coastal market: the West End, from beach to bay; the myriad neighborhoods - new and old - tucked throughout the island; and the windstorm and flood insurance requirements important to all property owners. "I was raised in Houston, and now Galveston is my home. I've had the best of both worlds. This combination helps me better understand and assist buyers and sellers in our market." Active in the community, she attends St. Mary's Catholic Church; volunteers with the Bryan Museum; serves as a docent with the Galveston Historic Homes Tour each May; serves on the Board of the Friends of Rosenberg Library. In 2018, Alison was elected to the Board of the Galveston Association of Realtors, and was also the featured realtor in an episode of "Beach Front Bargain Hunt" on HGTV. When she is not working with clients, Alison enjoys estate sales and vintage shops, trips to New Orleans, and entertaining her friends and family at her father's farm near Brenham.
