Raised in St. Louis with five siblings, Karen grew up building furniture with her older brother, sparking her passion for home design and construction at a young age. She attended Missouri University of Science and Technology, graduating with a BS in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Communications. Relocating to Houston, Karen then launched a successful career as an engineer and consultant in the oil and gas industry and earned a master's degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Houston.
As an area resident for more than 30 years, Karen has broad knowledge of the Greater Houston Metroplex. Across Clear Lake, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, and more, Karen spent years attending sporting and school events with her children and spending time with family.
