My family moved to this area in 1985. My husband was the pastor of a local church and I worked along side him in ministry and at Lockheed. We started buying real estate as an investment to help us out when we retired. One day I was sitting at a closing and I decided right then that I could do this too. I took the classes, passed and I have been an active REALTOR since 2005. I do this because I enjoy meeting and working with people. I always tell my clients, "you will know the house you want when you walk in the door." I work in the Galveston County area as well as parts of the surrounding counties.

As a native Houstonian and graduate of our very own University of Houston, I am highly knowledgeable in the many offerings of this city. With a passion for service and connecting with others, I began serving my community through teaching prior to beginning my real estate career. My background in teaching sets me apart as I am an expert at educating clients about the home buying and selling process. Krista Stoutner is the real deal when it comes to real estate. This honest, loyal and hardworking Realtor genuinely loves to help others. Having earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management, and a Master of Education specializing in Counseling, coupled with a varied background from working as a receptionist/secretary in a law firm, to restaurant manager, event planner and addictions counselor, Krista has learned how to successfully work with people from very diverse backgrounds and needing assistance with a variety of situations.
A good listener, Krista knows how to discern and deliver what her clients want. Taught by her mother to never give up, by her stepfather the no-nonsense side of business and by her father the value of planning and patience, she goes above and beyond to fix a problem. Whether the process is obstacle-free or challenging, putting a smile on someone's face makes her day. Krista hails from Lubbock, Texas and has resided in Houston since 2001. She currently lives in Cypress with her husband and four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, reading, Bunco and teaching Sunday school. She is also a member of the Fairfield MOM's Club.
