Much of James' 30 year career was not spent in real estate, but in the offshore oil and gas industry. He was an engineering consultant who managed subsea control systems for projects in the Gulf of Mexico that ranged up to $6 billion. His attention to detail, ability to see the big picture, and manage multiple vendors gives him an experience that you will not find in many agents. He brings an analytical aspect to real estate that gives his clients confidence in pricing their home to sell at the top end of the market on every transaction.

James is the leader of the Houston Home Team with Compass RE, LLC. Whether buying or selling, his market insight and no nonsense approach ensures that his clients are informed and confident during every step of the transaction. James' focus, tenacity, and above all else, his honesty are second to none.

James is a graduate of Texas A&M University. A father of three children and married since 2001, James and his wife, Becky, have lived in the NW Houston area since 2002.

Krista Stoutner is the real deal when it comes to real estate. This honest, loyal and hardworking Realtor genuinely loves to help others. She does not see this profession as a "sales" profession, she views it as a "service" profession. She wants her to clients to know that when they choose her, she will help them to not only find the right house, but also the lifestyle they want and deserve.

Given her love for working with and meeting new people, it's no surprise customer service has consistently been at the foundation and forefront of Krista's professional career. Having earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management, and a Master of Education specializing in Counseling, coupled with a varied background from working as a receptionist/secretary in a law firm, to restaurant manager, event planner and addictions counselor, Krista has learned how to successfully work with people from very diverse backgrounds and needing assistance with a variety of situations.

A good listener, Krista knows how to discern and deliver what her clients want. Taught by her mother to never give up, by her stepfather the no-nonsense side of business and by her father the value of planning and patience, she goes above and beyond to fix a problem. Whether the process is obstacle-free or challenging, putting a smile on someone's face makes her day. Krista hails from Lubbock, Texas and has resided in Houston since 2001. She currently lives in Cypress with her husband and four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, reading, Bunco and teaching Sunday school. She is also a member of the Fairfield MOM's Club.
