When we compared Western Hills Primary School, which is a part of FORT WORTH ISD, with Worth Heights Elementary School, which is a part of FORT WORTH ISD, we noted that the two schools are on opposite ends of the ratings spectrum.
Western Hills Primary School has a regular student population of 396 with a 16 students/teacher ratio while Worth Heights Elementary School has 502 students and a student-teacher ratio of 14.8 students/teacher ratio.
Western Hills Primary School earned a State accountability rating of Not Rated: SB 1365 (Not Rated per SB 1365). Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, African Americans comprise the biggest group at Western Hills Primary School. They make up for 50.00% of student population, followed by Hispanics (41.16%), Whites or Caucasians (5.05%), Two or More Races (3.28%) and Native Americans (0.25%). There is no Asians student in the school.
At Worth Heights Elementary School, Hispanics make up 95.02% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (3.39%), Asians (0.60%), Two or More Races (0.60%) and African Americans (0.40%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
Based on household incomes, Western Hills Primary School’s economically disadvantaged students is higher at 96.46% compared to 94.42% at Worth Heights Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Western Hills Primary School has 105 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 26.52% of student population. Worth Heights Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 262 or about 52.19% of student population.
Western Hills Primary School has no gifted and talented student, while 6.06% are in the special education program, and bilingual students comprise 26.26% students. Worth Heights Elementary School 13.35% are in the special education program, 5.38% are in the gifted and talented program, and bilingual students comprise 48.41% students.
