Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Distinction Designations for Wedgwood Middle School and James Middle School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Wedgwood Middle School. They make up for 53.19% of student population, followed by African Americans (34.21%), Whites or Caucasians (7.76%), Two or More Races (2.91%), Asians (1.80%) and Native Americans (0.14%).
At James Middle School, Hispanics make up 83.23% of student population, followed by African Americans (13.22%), Whites or Caucasians (2.69%), Two or More Races (0.49%), Asians (0.24%) and Native Americans (0.12%).
