When we compared Tamarron Elementary School, which is a part of LAMAR CISD, with Susanna Dickinson Elementary School, which is a part of LAMAR CISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.
Tamarron Elementary School has a regular student population of 788 with a 18.8 students/teacher ratio while Susanna Dickinson Elementary School has 518 students and a student-teacher ratio of 14.6 students/teacher ratio.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Susanna Dickinson Elementary School's four out of seven distinctions are in Mathematics, Science, post-secondary and 25% closing performance gaps. Tamarron Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Tamarron Elementary School. They make up for 45.05% of student population, followed by African Americans (23.48%), Whites or Caucasians (17.89%), Asians (8.12%), Two or More Races (4.82%) and Native Americans (0.63%).
At Susanna Dickinson Elementary School, Whites or Caucasians are the biggest group, comprising 58.11% of student population, followed by Hispanics (22.01%), Two or More Races (7.53%), Asians (7.34%) and African Americans (5.02%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
Based on household incomes, Tamarron Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 42.64% compared to 17.37% at Susanna Dickinson Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Tamarron Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 36.68% of its student population compared to 9.27% at Susanna Dickinson Elementary School.
In addition, Tamarron Elementary School has 36.04% bilingual students, 4.95% are in the gifted and talented program, while 9.64% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Susanna Dickinson Elementary School with 7.72% bilingual students, 15.64% gifted and talented students and 14.48% students in the special education program.
