Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Summitt Elementary School. They make up for 42.54% of student population, followed by Asians (24.56%), Hispanics (22.51%), Two or More Races (7.02%) and African Americans (3.22%). Based on household incomes, the Summitt Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 31.43% compared to 91.11% at Austin Isd Prek Partnership (Pkp).
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Summitt Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 29.82% of its student population compared to 22.22% at Austin Isd Prek Partnership (Pkp).
Summitt Elementary School 12.13% are in the special education program, 8.33% are in the gifted and talented program, and bilingual students comprise 35.53% students. Austin Isd Prek Partnership (Pkp) has no special education program, gifted and talented and bilingual students.
