Spring Branch Academic Institute's seven out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Treasure Forest Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Spring Branch Academic Institute. They make up for 51.43% of student population, followed by Asians (30.00%), Two or More Races (9.29%), Hispanics (7.14%) and African Americans (1.43%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
At Treasure Forest Elementary School, Hispanics make up 90.21% of student population, followed by African Americans (7.69%), Whites or Caucasians (1.86%) and Native Americans (0.23%). There is no Asians and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Spring Branch Academic Institute’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 8.57% compared to 96.97% at Treasure Forest Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Spring Branch Academic Institute has 3 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 2.14% of student population. Treasure Forest Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 316 or about 73.66% of student population.
Spring Branch Academic Institute’s bilingual students comprise 2.14%, gifted and talented students, 97.86%, while 0.71% are in the special education program. Treasure Forest Elementary School bilingual students comprise 73.19%, gifted and talented students, 3.50%, and 15.85% are in the special education program.
