Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Distinction Designations for Simms Elementary School and Hayley Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, African Americans comprise the biggest group at Simms Elementary School. They make up for 64.17% of student population, followed by Hispanics (21.86%), Whites or Caucasians (8.70%), Two or More Races (4.86%), Asians (0.20%) and Native Americans (0.20%).
The student population at Hayley Elementary School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 45.63%, followed by African Americans (37.43%), Whites or Caucasians (11.23%), Two or More Races (4.81%) and Native Americans (0.89%). There is no Asians student in the school.
