Distinction Designations for Seagoville North Elementary School and T G Terry Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Seagoville North Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 77.70% of student population, followed by African Americans (14.12%), Whites or Caucasians (6.07%), Two or More Races (1.45%), Native Americans (0.40%) and Asians (0.26%).
At T G Terry Elementary School, Hispanics make up 76.24% of student population, followed by African Americans (21.63%), Whites or Caucasians (1.42%) and Two or More Races (0.71%). There is no Asians and Native Americansstudents in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Seagoville North Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is lower at 90.50% compared to 92.91% at T G Terry Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Seagoville North Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 51.58% of its student population compared to 54.61% at T G Terry Elementary School.
In addition, Seagoville North Elementary School has 48.02% bilingual students, 17.02% are in the gifted and talented program, while 9.10% are in the special education program.
