When we compared School At St George Place, which is a part of HOUSTON ISD, with Neff Ecc, which is a part of HOUSTON ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
School At St George Place's five out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Neff Ecc did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at School At St George Place. They make up for 37.60% of student population, followed by African Americans (22.16%), Whites or Caucasians (19.53%), Asians (14.64%), Two or More Races (5.41%) and Native Americans (0.40%).
At Neff Ecc, Hispanics make up 86.84% of student population, followed by African Americans (7.54%), Asians (3.33%), Whites or Caucasians (1.93%), Native Americans (0.18%) and Two or More Races (0.18%).
Based on household incomes, the School At St George Place’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 53.56% compared to 95.79% at Neff Ecc.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, School At St George Place has 226 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 29.82% of student population. Neff Ecc has significantly more ELLs at 452 or about 79.30% of student population.
School At St George Place’s bilingual students comprise 29.95%, gifted and talented students, 8.71%, while 6.86% are in the special education program. Neff Ecc bilingual students comprise 79.30%, gifted and talented students, 1.05%, and 3.51% are in the special education program.

The 34 teachers at Neff Ecc have been serving the school for an average of 7.9 years with individual teaching experience averaging 10.2 years.
