Both schools garnered only five distinction designations or awards for outstanding performance. These are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Rita Smith Elementary School. They make up for 53.86% of student population, followed by African Americans (14.41%), Hispanics (14.41%), Asians (11.06%), Two or More Races (5.64%) and Native Americans (0.63%).
The student population at Dodd Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 42.98%, followed by Hispanics (20.64%), African Americans (16.07%), Asians (12.52%) and Two or More Races (7.28%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
