Spicewood Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in 25% closing performance gaps. Neysa Callison Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Neysa Callison Elementary School. They make up for 51.91% of student population, followed by African Americans (20.07%), Whites or Caucasians (16.25%), Two or More Races (8.29%), Asians (3.32%) and Native Americans (0.17%).

In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Neysa Callison Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 22.55% of its student population compared to 7.57% at Spicewood Elementary School.
In addition, Neysa Callison Elementary School has 31.01% bilingual students, 4.31% are in the gifted and talented program, while 15.75% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Spicewood Elementary School with 7.41% bilingual students, 13.85% gifted and talented students and 5.64% students in the special education program.
