Sunset Valley Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in with 25% student progress. Liberty Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Liberty Elementary School is Whites or Caucasians who make up nearly 70.91% of student population, followed by Asians (11.64%), Hispanics (10.78%), Two or More Races (4.53%) and African Americans (2.16%). Based on household incomes, the Liberty Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 7.11% compared to 33.76% at Sunset Valley Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Liberty Elementary School has 17 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 3.66% of student population. Sunset Valley Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 125 or about 19.90% of student population.
Liberty Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 3.45%, gifted and talented students, 7.11%, while 11.85% are in the special education program. Sunset Valley Elementary School bilingual students comprise 18.47%, gifted and talented students, 5.73%, and 12.90% are in the special education program.
