Lakewood Elementary School's six out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Joseph J Rhoads Learning Center did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Lakewood Elementary School is Whites or Caucasians who make up nearly 78.91% of student population, followed by Hispanics (11.26%), Two or More Races (5.03%), Asians (1.75%), African Americans (1.64%) and Native Americans (1.31%).
At Joseph J Rhoads Learning Center, African Americans are the biggest group, comprising 64.21% of student population, followed by Hispanics (35.79%). There is no Asians, Native Americans, Two or More Races and Whites or Caucasians students in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Lakewood Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 5.79% compared to 95.79% at Joseph J Rhoads Learning Center.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Lakewood Elementary School has a higher number of English Language Learners comprising 3.17% of its student population compared to 29.47% at Joseph J Rhoads Learning Center.
