A distinction designation acknowledges districts and campuses for outstanding achievement based on the outcomes of several performance indicators. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Distinction Designations for Kleb Intermediate and Hildebrandt Intermediate are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Kleb Intermediate. They make up for 37.69% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (33.24%), African Americans (16.06%), Asians (7.93%), Two or More Races (4.45%) and Native Americans (0.35%).
The student population at Hildebrandt Intermediate is also predominantly by Hispanics at 46.98%, followed by Whites or Caucasians (30.66%), African Americans (13.21%), Asians (4.25%), Two or More Races (3.77%) and Native Americans (1.04%).
Based on household incomes, the Kleb Intermediate’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 50.00% compared to 54.06% at Hildebrandt Intermediate.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Kleb Intermediate has 193 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 13.42% of student population. Hildebrandt Intermediate has slightly more ELLs at 205 or about 19.34% of student population.
In addition, Kleb Intermediate has 13.07% bilingual students, 8.28% are in the gifted and talented program, while 11.96% are in the special education program. This stacks up against Hildebrandt Intermediate with 18.68% bilingual students, 9.25% gifted and talented students and 13.87% students in the special education program.
Kleb Intermediate's 86 teachers have been working at the campus for an average of 7.3 years with individual teaching experience averaging 11.4 years. Teachers at Hildebrandt Intermediate, numbering 75 teachers, have been serving the school for an average of 7.2 years with individual teaching experience averaging 11.3 years.
