Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Kipp Nexus Middle School's two out of seven distinctions are in Science and Social Studies. Kipp Prime College Preparatory has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Kipp Prime College Preparatory is Hispanics who make up nearly 79.91% of student population, followed by African Americans (17.12%), Two or More Races (1.37%), Asians (0.68%), Whites or Caucasians (0.46%) and Native Americans (0.46%).
At Kipp Nexus Middle School, Hispanics make up 76.13% of student population, followed by African Americans (21.17%), Whites or Caucasians (1.58%) and Two or More Races (1.13%). There is no Asians and Native Americansstudents in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Kipp Prime College Preparatory’s economically disadvantaged students is lower at 87.67% compared to 90.32% at Kipp Nexus Middle School.
