When we compared Kipp Prime College Preparatory, which is a part of KIPP TEXAS PUBLIC SCHOOLS, with Kipp Aspire Academy, which is a part of KIPP TEXAS PUBLIC SCHOOLS, we noted a slight difference in ratings.
Kipp Prime College Preparatory’s regular student population is 438 with a 25.4 students/teacher ratio. The student population at Kipp Aspire Academy is 507 students and a 27.8 students/teacher ratio.

Distinction Designations for Kipp Prime College Preparatory and Kipp Aspire Academy are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Kipp Prime College Preparatory is Hispanics who make up nearly 79.91% of student population, followed by African Americans (17.12%), Two or More Races (1.37%), Asians (0.68%), Whites or Caucasians (0.46%) and Native Americans (0.46%).
At Kipp Aspire Academy, Hispanics make up 95.66% of student population, followed by African Americans (1.78%), Whites or Caucasians (1.58%), Native Americans (0.79%) and Two or More Races (0.20%). There is no Asians student in the school.
Based on household incomes, Kipp Prime College Preparatory’s economically disadvantaged students is higher at 87.67% compared to 86.59% at Kipp Aspire Academy.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Kipp Prime College Preparatory has 134 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 30.59% of student population. Kipp Aspire Academy has significantly more ELLs at 195 or about 38.46% of student population.
Kipp Prime College Preparatory has no gifted and talented student, while 7.76% are in the special education program, and bilingual students comprise 25.57% students.
