Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Idea North Mission College Preparatory is Hispanics who make up nearly 96.48% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (2.44%), Asians (0.68%), African Americans (0.27%) and Two or More Races (0.14%). Based on household incomes, Idea North Mission College Preparatory’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 94.72% compared to 56.86% at Idea Yukon Academy.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Idea North Mission College Preparatory has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 50.34% of its student population compared to 9.71% at Idea Yukon Academy.
Idea North Mission College Preparatory has no gifted and talented student, while 8.12% are in the special education program, and bilingual students comprise 49.93% students. Idea Yukon Academy has no gifted and talented student, while 9.71% are in the special education program, and bilingual students comprise 8.29% students.
