Distinction Designations for Hcc Life Skills Program and Houston Math Science And Technology Center are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Hcc Life Skills Program. They make up for 55.41% of student population, followed by African Americans (33.78%), Whites or Caucasians (9.46%) and Asians (1.35%). There is no Native Americans and Two or More Racesstudents in the school.
At Houston Math Science And Technology Center, Hispanics make up 91.35% of student population, followed by African Americans (6.75%), Whites or Caucasians (1.24%), Native Americans (0.26%), Two or More Races (0.22%) and Asians (0.11%).
Based on household incomes, the Hcc Life Skills Program’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 45.95% compared to 95.26% at Houston Math Science And Technology Center.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Hcc Life Skills Program has 4 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 5.41% of student population. Houston Math Science And Technology Center has significantly more ELLs at 1109 or about 40.46% of student population.
Hcc Life Skills Program has no gifted and talented student, while 100.00% are in the special education program, and bilingual students comprise 2.70% students. Houston Math Science And Technology Center 12.22% are in the special education program, 12.84% are in the gifted and talented program, and bilingual students comprise 39.73% students.
