Distinction Designations for Great Hearts Lakeside and Great Hearts Irving are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Great Hearts Lakeside. They make up for 54.49% of student population, followed by Hispanics (22.00%), African Americans (11.63%), Two or More Races (6.45%), Asians (5.18%) and Native Americans (0.25%).
At Great Hearts Irving, Asians are the biggest group, comprising 54.75% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (25.30%), Hispanics (12.18%), African Americans (5.49%), Two or More Races (2.14%) and Native Americans (0.13%).
Based on household incomes, Great Hearts Lakeside’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly higher at 23.77% compared to 13.92% at Great Hearts Irving.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Great Hearts Lakeside has 34 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 4.30% of student population. Great Hearts Irving has significantly more ELLs at 141 or about 18.88% of student population.
Great Hearts Lakeside has no gifted and talented student, while 9.73% are in the special education program, and bilingual students comprise 4.05% students.
