Forest North Elementary School's two out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA) and with 25% student progress. Redbud Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Forest North Elementary School. They make up for 37.19% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (28.10%), African Americans (17.77%), Asians (8.68%) and Two or More Races (7.85%). There is no Native Americans student in the school.
The student population at Redbud Elementary School is also predominantly by Asians at 51.16%, followed by Whites or Caucasians (20.75%), Hispanics (17.49%), African Americans (5.44%), Two or More Races (4.46%) and Native Americans (0.54%).
Based on household incomes, Forest North Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 46.28% compared to 10.10% at Redbud Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Forest North Elementary School has 45 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 18.60% of student population. Redbud Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 550 or about 18.46% of student population.
In addition, Forest North Elementary School has 18.18% bilingual students, 5.79% are in the gifted and talented program, while 16.12% are in the special education program.
