Distinction Designations for Dover Elementary School and Carolyn G Bukhair Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Dover Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 79.07% of student population, followed by African Americans (13.46%), Whites or Caucasians (5.98%), Two or More Races (1.12%), Asians (0.19%) and Native Americans (0.19%).
At Carolyn G Bukhair Elementary School, Hispanics make up 93.23% of student population, followed by African Americans (4.68%), Whites or Caucasians (1.13%), Native Americans (0.65%) and Two or More Races (0.32%). There is no Asians student in the school.
Based on household incomes, the Dover Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is lower at 91.03% compared to 93.23% at Carolyn G Bukhair Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Dover Elementary School has 355 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 66.36% of student population. Carolyn G Bukhair Elementary School has significantly more ELLs at 515 or about 83.06% of student population.
