When we compared Christie Elementary School, which is a part of FRISCO ISD, with Spears Elementary School, which is a part of FRISCO ISD, we noted a slight difference in ratings.

Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Christie Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in Science. Spears Elementary School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Christie Elementary School. They make up for 52.82% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (20.26%), African Americans (12.56%), Asians (9.23%), Two or More Races (4.87%) and Native Americans (0.26%).
The student population at Spears Elementary School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 30.62%, followed by Asians (26.81%), Hispanics (21.73%), African Americans (11.69%), Two or More Races (8.26%) and Native Americans (0.89%).
Based on household incomes, Christie Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly higher at 42.31% compared to 22.49% at Spears Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Christie Elementary School has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 47.69% of its student population compared to 15.63% at Spears Elementary School.
Christie Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 48.72%, gifted and talented students, 5.64%, while 15.90% are in the special education program. Spears Elementary School bilingual students comprise 14.99%, gifted and talented students, 4.70%, and 8.89% are in the special education program.
