It is in this area where the two schools differ. Cedar Park High School’s two out of seven distinctions are in post-secondary and with 25% student progress. Vista Ridge High School's three out of seven distinctions are in Science, post-secondary and with 25% student progress.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Whites or Caucasians comprise the biggest group at Cedar Park High School. They make up for 63.32% of student population, followed by Hispanics (21.21%), Asians (8.08%), Two or More Races (4.84%), African Americans (2.05%) and Native Americans (0.30%).
The student population at Vista Ridge High School is also predominantly by Whites or Caucasians at 48.73%, followed by Hispanics (25.79%), Asians (15.57%), African Americans (4.74%), Two or More Races (4.70%) and Native Americans (0.27%).
