Distinction Designations for Caldwell Heights Elementary School and Anderson Mill Elementary School are not applicable as neither one earned a recognition for outstanding achievement in seven categories.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, Hispanics comprise the biggest group at Caldwell Heights Elementary School. They make up for 54.46% of student population, followed by Whites or Caucasians (20.18%), African Americans (17.50%), Two or More Races (4.11%), Asians (3.39%) and Native Americans (0.36%).
The student population at Anderson Mill Elementary School is also predominantly by Hispanics at 52.01%, followed by Whites or Caucasians (30.50%), African Americans (9.46%), Asians (4.02%), Two or More Races (3.31%) and Native Americans (0.47%).
Based on household incomes, the Caldwell Heights Elementary School’s economically disadvantaged students is slightly lower at 53.93% compared to 59.34% at Anderson Mill Elementary School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Caldwell Heights Elementary School has 135 English Language Learners or ELLS or about 24.11% of student population. Anderson Mill Elementary School has slightly more ELLs at 154 or about 36.41% of student population.
In addition, Caldwell Heights Elementary School has 30.71% bilingual students, 5.89% are in the gifted and talented program, while 14.11% are in the special education program.
