Bryan Adams H S Leadership Academy's six out of seven distinctions are in Reading/English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Social Studies, post-secondary, with 25% student progress and 25% closing performance gaps. Wilmer-Hutchins High School did not earn any distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Bryan Adams H S Leadership Academy is Hispanics who make up nearly 80.84% of student population, followed by African Americans (10.64%), Whites or Caucasians (5.84%), Asians (1.59%), Two or More Races (0.86%) and Native Americans (0.14%).
The student population at Wilmer-Hutchins High School is also predominantly by African Americans at 50.90%, followed by Hispanics (46.49%), Whites or Caucasians (1.30%), Native Americans (0.70%), Two or More Races (0.40%) and Asians (0.10%).
Based on household incomes, the Bryan Adams H S Leadership Academy’s economically disadvantaged students is significantly lower at 82.20% compared to 98.00% at Wilmer-Hutchins High School.
In terms of Limited English Proficiency (LEP), a term used in the United States that refers to a person who is not fluent in the English Language, mainly because it is not their native language, Bryan Adams H S Leadership Academy has a significantly higher number of English Language Learners comprising 52.90% of its student population compared to 30.86% at Wilmer-Hutchins High School.
