Distinction designations are awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
Wainwright Elementary School's one out of seven distinction is in Science. Bonner Elementary School has no distinction.
Based on Racial/Ethnic Groups, the dominant group in Bonner Elementary School is Hispanics who make up nearly 96.59% of student population, followed by African Americans (1.09%), Whites or Caucasians (0.93%), Asians (0.93%), Two or More Races (0.31%) and Native Americans (0.16%).

Bonner Elementary School’s bilingual students comprise 53.64%, gifted and talented students, 5.58%, while 8.99% are in the special education program. Wainwright Elementary School bilingual students comprise 47.62%, gifted and talented students, 2.60%, and 16.02% are in the special education program.
